Practicing acquired skills at home is crucial for improvement, especially if pursuing additional courses to advance in fine furniture making.

Crafting joints, such as dovetail or mortise and tenon, require precision for a perfect fit. Initial frustration from mistakes can be disheartening but leads to rewarding improvements and skill mastery.
What are the reasons why you ended the course?
Our focus was on crafting a petite side table using English walnut for the main structure and a sycamore drawer, with elegant dovetail joints showcasing the contrast between the woods.

The six-week course runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with workshop access from 8 am to 7 pm. Despite the intensive schedule, the small cohort and beautiful setting contribute to a positive and immersive learning experience.
Why did you decide to take up a fine furniture-making course?
Concerned about the environmental impact of plastic toys, I was inspired by durable, eco-friendly wooden toys and decided to design and craft my own, combining sustainability with creativity.
Did you have any woodwork experience before you started training?
I dabbled in DIY projects and converted a school bus into a motorhome, gaining hands-on experience. However, training with our team highlighted the distinction between rough woodworking and fine furniture making.
What makes your furniture-making courses unique?
Our courses emphasize hands-on crafting, with personalized attention due to small class sizes. The focus on practical skills ensures that students can apply their knowledge independently, fostering confidence and independence.
Who are these furniture-making courses targeted to?
The courses are for anyone interested in woodworking, from beginners to experienced individuals. Applicants must be over 18 at the course start date.
How many people do you teach at a time?
We teach a maximum of five students per course, ensuring ample individual tutoring time.
